Acoustic Control for Up-Blast Chiller Fans
KINETICS® NOISEBLOCK™ Chiller Stacks and Pergolas are engineered noise-control solutions for air-cooled chillers where fan noise is projected upward from rooftop or outdoor mechanical equipment. The system is designed to control upward sound propagation from up-blast chiller fans, helping reduce noise impact on nearby buildings, upper floors, surrounding properties, and sensitive project boundaries.
Designed for Low Pressure Drop
Chiller noise-control systems must be carefully designed so that acoustic treatment does not restrict chiller airflow or affect HVAC performance. NOISEBLOCK™ Chiller Stacks and Pergolas are designed to provide an estimated 12–15 dBA reduction at 5′-0″ above while exhibiting no more than 0.05 inches WG pressure drop at the rated chiller airflow CFM.
Independent Support for Rooftop HVAC Coordination
The chiller stack is designed to be supported completely separate from the chiller, helping protect the equipment from unnecessary structural loading. The support structure is supplied as a completely bolt-together system with no field welding required, and all bolts, nuts, and washers are included for installation coordination.
