HealthGuard is a specialized antiseptic acoustical panel developed for spaces where noise reduction, hygiene, and occupant well-being are equally important. The panel features antimicrobial and bleach-cleanable finishes that assist in combating the spread of viruses and bacteria, including the novel coronavirus, while improving acoustic comfort in busy interior environments.

Reducing noise supports atmospheres of healing, learning, and productivity. HealthGuard uses a polyester core with no VOCs or formaldehyde binders, making it a suitable acoustic solution for projects focused on indoor environmental quality, cleanability, and sound absorption. HealthGuard is available in 1-inch and 2-inch thicknesses.
HealthGuard UI for High-Traffic Areas
HealthGuard UI is the ultra-impact resistant version, designed with a durable facia that can withstand kids, carts, and daily abuse. As one of Kinetics’ highest impact-rated panels, HealthGuard UI is suited for active spaces such as daycares, hallways, waiting rooms, schools, clinics, and other high-traffic interiors. HealthGuard UI is available in 1-1/8-inch and 2-1/8-inch thicknesses.
Acoustical Performance Options
HealthGuard provides reliable sound absorption for reverberation control, speech comfort, and improved indoor acoustics. Published NRC values include HealthGuard 1-inch at 0.70, HealthGuard 2-inch at 0.95, HealthGuard UI 1-1/8-inch at 1.00, and HealthGuard UI 2-1/8-inch at 1.05. Kinetics notes that HealthGuard was tested without fabric, while HealthGuard UI was tested with a lower-density impact facing.
Finish, Installation, and Project Coordination
HealthGuard fabric selections include FR701 2100, Jane 9085, RESOLVE 1301, Sprite 2671, and Theory 3006. Field modification resources are available for cut and rewrap, inside corner cut and rewrap, electrical outlet cut-outs, and round hole cut-outs. Installation options include pin clips for HealthGuard, while HealthGuard UI may be installed using HS clips with construction adhesive, Rotofast snap-on anchors, construction adhesive only, Z-clips, factory-installed Z-clips, or Velcro.
