KINETICS® KB803 Noise Control Ceiling Baffles provide an economical and effective solution for reverberant noise control in large-volume, high-ceiling environments. Suspended vertically from the ceiling or building structure, KB803 baffles help reduce overall noise and reverberation levels in spaces where sound reflects from hard surfaces and open ceiling areas.
Engineered for practical acoustic treatment, KB803 baffles are commonly used in gymnasiums, cafeterias, multipurpose rooms, animal kennels, indoor play areas, industrial spaces, recreational facilities, and other high-noise environments. Their ceiling-suspended design makes them suitable for projects where wall-mounted acoustic panels may not be sufficient or where additional overhead sound absorption is required.
Each KB803 acoustic baffle is constructed with a 3 PCF fiberglass core encased in a fire-retardant vinyl film cover. The vinyl covering is heat sealed along the edges to create an airtight seam, supporting durability and clean installation. For ease of suspension, each baffle includes brass grommets along the edge. KB803 baffles are also available with FDA-accepted coverings, and suspension grommets can be sealed as an optional feature for clean room applications.
The product supports acoustic performance across a wide frequency range, with published absorption data including NRC 1.40 and tested absorption values across 125 Hz to 4000 Hz.
