KINETICS® NOISEBLOCK™ Pressurized Plenums and Equipment Casings are field-erected acoustic panel systems for HVAC air handling units, duct plenums, outside air plenums, exhaust plenums, and mechanical equipment casings in UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA building projects.
Kinetics Noise Control Inc. Products
Acoustic Plenum and Equipment Casing Systems for HVAC Projects
KINETICS® NOISEBLOCK™ Pressurized Plenums and Equipment Casings are engineered panel enclosure systems designed for heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning installations where air-conditioning noise control is required in modern buildings. The systems are designed to be erected in the field and provide thermal and noise control through sound absorption and sound transmission loss.
Designed for Pressurized Airflow Applications
These pressurized plenum enclosures are suitable for air handling units, panel duct systems, outside air plenums, and exhaust air plenums. They help collect, contain, and re-route air and noise through the duct system while supporting the acoustic performance required for commercial, healthcare, hospitality, education, industrial, and infrastructure developments.
Engineering Support for Layout, Acoustics, Structure, and Ventilation
Kinetics provides design and engineering assistance, including layout support as well as acoustical, structural, and ventilation requirements. This makes NOISEBLOCK™ Pressurized Plenums and Equipment Casings suitable for consultant-led HVAC, MEP, and acoustic design coordination across UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA projects.
Built-Up Air Handling Unit Applications
NOISEBLOCK™ modular panels are well suited for field-assembled, built-up air handling units. Kinetics engineers work with fan system engineers to design panel systems that support acoustical and structural performance for AHU casings, fan sections, mixing sections, and associated HVAC equipment enclosures.
Outside Air Intake and Exhaust Plenum Solutions
NOISEBLOCK™ modular panels can be used for duct system plenums where air and noise are collected and redirected throughout the HVAC system. In addition to sound absorption and transmission loss, these plenums can introduce multiple power splits into a system, supporting increased natural attenuation. The panels are designed to withstand static pressures up to +/- 10 in. WG where applicable.
Mechanical and Control Room Noise Separation
NOISEBLOCK™ modular panels can also be used to create mechanical equipment rooms, sometimes considered a room-within-a-room, where commercial applications require higher levels of noise separation between mechanical areas and occupied building spaces. This supports better acoustic comfort, building usability, and MEP noise control performance.
