Product Description

Rooftop Ballast Noise Barrier Wall System
KINETICS® NOISEBLOCK™ QuickWall is a ballast-style rooftop noise barrier wall that delivers the same noise reduction as the Kinetics NOISEBLOCK barrier wall system, while offering easier installation for rooftop retrofit applications. The system uses its own weight and gravity to remain in place, reducing the need for rigid connections to the roof structure. Because QuickWall does not penetrate the roof, it helps avoid negative impact on roof warranty and roof watertightness.

Designed for Flat Roof Retrofit Noise Control
QuickWall is suitable for flat roof installations with TPO, PVC, EPDM membranes, and asphalt-based built-up roofing with a gravel top layer. This makes it a practical acoustic solution for existing commercial buildings, restaurants, shopping malls, schools, recreational facilities, parks, and other outdoor applications where rooftop equipment noise must be controlled without major structural disruption.

Noise Control for Light-Duty Rooftop Mechanical Equipment
The system is designed for use around light-duty rooftop mechanical equipment such as air conditioners, condensers, fans, and pumps. By muffling unwanted outdoor noise, NOISEBLOCK™ QuickWall helps reduce acoustic impact on nearby residential buildings, commercial properties, and surrounding communities. This makes it suitable for MEP consultants, acoustic consultants, contractors, and property owners managing rooftop HVAC noise control requirements in dense urban environments across the UAE and wider GCC region.

Flexible Configurations and Finish Options
QuickWall is available in two configurations: three-sided with both side walls of equal length, or four-sided in rectangular or square layouts. NOISEBLOCK wall systems are available in mill finish or factory powder-coat finish in Kinetics standard colors, with color matching available where project coordination requires it. POWDURA® RAL Series Super Durable TGIC-free polyester powder coatings are also available for Kinetics® NOISEBLOCK™ systems.

Panel Construction and Engineering Details
NOISEBLOCK™ panels are fabricated with an outer solid shell of 16/18 gauge and an inner perforated shell of 22 gauge. Panels are stiffened with 18 gauge internal channels and edge rails. The acoustic-grade fill is 2.5 to 6 pcf long-strand fiberglass or mineral wool, described by the manufacturer as inert, mildew resistant, vermin proof, incombustible, and suitable for wet/dry and freeze/thaw cycling. The manufacturer also notes that NOISEBLOCK™ wall systems are designed per industry standards following applicable IBC building codes, referenced standards, and guidelines, including wind, snow, and seismic loading conditions.
