RD-A/RD-B/RD-C/RD-D/RD-S – Neoprene Mounts

RD-A, RD-B, RD-C, RD-D, and RD-S Neoprene Mounts are molded neoprene vibration isolators designed for small pumps, vent sets, low-pressure packaged air-handling units, and similar mechanical equipment. With encapsulated steel inserts, non-skid ribs, and available seismic and wind restraint options, these mounts support reliable HVAC and MEP vibration control for UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA projects.

Product Description

Kinetics RD/RDS Neoprene Mounts are one-piece molded neoprene vibration isolators recommended for isolating vibration produced by small pumps, vent sets, low-pressure packaged air-handling units, and other mechanical equipment. Typical applications are limited to high-frequency vibration isolation for mechanical equipment with lowest operating speeds of 1750 RPM, when installed on a grade-supported slab or pier. These applications include close-coupled pumps with motors of 5 H.P. or less.

RD-A, RD-B, RD-C, RD-D, and RD-S Neoprene Mounts are suitable for mechanical equipment specified to be supported by neoprene rubber or elastomer isolators with tabulated minimum static deflection up to 0.50″ (13 mm). Each mount is color coded to identify capacity and incorporates non-skid ribs on the bottom load surfaces, two bolt-down holes on the bottom load surface, and a tapped steel load top plate for attachment to the supported equipment.

The neoprene material is highly oil resistant and is designed to operate within the strain limits of the isolator, supporting effective vibration isolation and long service life using neoprene compounds. RD/RDS mounts are available in four sizes and eleven capacities from 55 lbs. to 4,000 lbs. (25 kg to 1814 kg). Model RDS also offers a seismic and wind restraint housing to meet the latest building code requirements, making it suitable for code-conscious MEP and HVAC installations where restrained neoprene isolators are required.

For consultants, contractors, and MEP engineers, Kinetics RD/RDS Neoprene Mounts provide a compact, durable, and practical vibration isolation solution for equipment installed in mechanical rooms, plant areas, grade-supported slabs, piers, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects across the UAE and wider GCC region.
