RHEP-A

RHEP-A is a neoprene vibration isolation hanger element designed to reduce noise and vibration transmission from suspended mechanical equipment, piping, and ductwork. Using an elastomer-in-shear insert within a steel hanger bracket, it provides a reliable and economical HVAC and MEP noise isolation solution for projects across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region.

Product Description

Kinetics RHEP-A is part of the Model RH Vibration Isolation Hanger range, developed to reduce the transmission of vibration and noise generated by suspended equipment, piping, and ductwork. The hanger incorporates a color-coded elastomer-in-shear insert with a load plate, assembled into a stamped or welded hanger bracket. This design loads the elastomer in shear rather than compression, increasing allowable strain without accelerating deterioration.

RHEP-A is recommended for suspended mechanical equipment, in-line fans, exhaust fans, ductwork, piping, and other overhead MEP services where audible frequency vibration or noise isolation is required. The hanger is supplied fully assembled and ready for installation in threaded rod suspension systems, helping contractors achieve efficient installation while supporting consultant-specified vibration isolation requirements.

Kinetics Model RH hangers are available with static deflections from 0.20″ to 0.57″ (5 mm to 15 mm) and load capacities up to 2,000 lbs. (907 kg). The bracket allows support rod misalignment through a 30° arc and is designed to carry a 500% overload without failure. RHEP-A may also be used where first cost must be minimized, making it a practical choice for commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, data centers, industrial facilities, mechanical rooms, and infrastructure projects throughout the UAE and wider GCC region.
