Engineered Acoustic Wall Panels for Balanced Sound
VersaTune Acoustical Panels are low-frequency tuned fiberglass acoustical wall panels developed to improve room sound quality through broad-range absorption. The panels are designed to control lower-frequency reverberation, making them suitable for interior spaces where excessive bass energy can affect speech clarity, listening comfort, and overall acoustic performance.
Improved Low-Frequency Absorption
The VersaTune panel uses an engineered composite core that absorbs lower-frequency acoustic energy more effectively than traditional acoustic panels, without requiring additional thickness or excessive cost. Its multi-density panel core boosts absorption in the 100 to 400 Hz one-third octave bands to an average absorption coefficient of 0.79, which is higher than standard 2-inch thick acoustical panels.
Durable Fabric-Wrapped Construction
VersaTune is an engineered composite fiberglass panel with chemically hardened shaped edges for durability and a crisp finished appearance. Fabric is stretched over the panel, wrapped, and bonded around the edges to provide a clean architectural finish. Vinyl finishes are also available, supporting design flexibility for consultants, architects, contractors, and interior fit-out teams.
Design Flexibility for Interior Acoustic Projects
VersaTune panels can be designed in sizes up to 4 ft. x 10 ft. and are also available as custom-shaped panels with angled or contoured perimeter cuts. The panel appearance is identical to Kinetics High Impact HardSide panels, allowing designers to intermix both panel types on the same wall when lower-frequency absorption and high-impact resistance are needed in the same space.
