Low frequencies are physically large; in fact, the wavelength for 80 Hz is over 14 feet long. It is generally recommended that treatment for low frequencies be placed in the corners where these sounds tend to build-up. That stated, proper bass treatment design is influenced by room shape and speaker placement; Kinetics recommends contacting an independent acoustic expert for proper layout.
