Product Description

KINETICS® Woolf Cementitious Wood Wool is a sound-absorptive building material manufactured from bound wood fibers, cement, and water. It is designed for architectural acoustic applications where sound control, durability, visual texture, and sustainable material selection are important. Woolf panels are described by Kinetics as sustainable, eco-friendly, fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, and clean-air rated.

Acoustic Wood Wool for Walls and Ceilings
Woolf Cementitious Wood Wool panels can be mounted to walls and ceilings, used as ceiling tiles, or suspended as acoustic clouds and baffles. This makes the system suitable for interior spaces where consultants and designers need sound absorption without compromising architectural appearance. The panels are available in a variety of colors, finishes, and shapes, allowing them to be coordinated with project décor and interior design requirements.

Wall Applications
For wall-mounted applications, Woolf adds decoration, acoustic performance, and impact resistance in one product. Mounted wall panels are available up to 48″ wide, in lengths from 48″ to 96″, with thicknesses of 5/8″, 1″, and 1-1/2″. Edge options include Bevel and Square. Published NRC values include 0.45 for 5/8″, 0.60 for 1″, and 0.70 for 1-1/2″ panels using A-Mount installation.

Ceiling, Cloud, Baffle, and Tile Options
For ceiling applications, Woolf is available as mounted panels, suspended clouds, vertical baffles, and lay-in ceiling grid tiles. Mounted ceiling panels are available in 23-3/4″ or 48″ widths, 96″ length, and 5/8″, 1″, or 1-1/2″ thicknesses. Woolf Clouds are available in 23-3/4″ or 48″ widths, 48″ to 96″ lengths, and 1-1/2″ thickness, with Bevel or Radius edges. Woolf Baffles are available in 23-3/4″ or 48″ widths, 48″ to 96″ lengths, and 1″ or 1-1/2″ thicknesses, with Bevel or Square edges.

Lay-In Ceiling Grid and Performance Options
Woolf lay-in ceiling tiles are available in Square and Tegular styles for ceiling grid applications. Square tiles are available in 23-3/4″ width, 23-3/4″ or 47-3/4″ length, and 5/8″, 1″, or 1-1/2″ thicknesses. Tegular tiles are available in 23-3/4″ width, 23-3/4″ or 47-3/4″ length, and 1″ or 1-1/2″ thicknesses. Published tile NRC values include 0.60 for 5/8″, 0.70 for 1″, and 0.75 for 1-1/2″ using E-400 Mount. A high-performance option is available for mounted ceiling and wall panels with a furring strip added to the back of the panel and 1″ or 2″ mineral wool, achieving published NRC values up to 1.00 depending on configuration.
