Al Shams – Abu Dhabi Tower 1 & 2 is a twin-tower residential development designed to provide modern urban living with high-quality apartments and shared amenities. Located in a rapidly growing area of Abu Dhabi, the project focuses on comfort, lifestyle, and efficient building performance. Kinetics Group of Companies (KGC) was engaged to implement specialized noise and vibration control solutions to ensure a peaceful and stable living environment for residents.
The Challenge
High-rise residential towers face continuous noise and vibration challenges due to mechanical systems, HVAC units, elevators, plumbing networks, and external urban activity. These disturbances can affect apartments, shared corridors, and amenity areas. The challenge was to minimize both structure-borne and airborne noise while maintaining efficient building operations across both towers.
