The large panel format allows kleen Panel to be used as a design-friendly acoustic treatment for walls, ceilings, feature areas, and custom cut shapes. Its availability in many color options supports creative interior design while helping manage reverberation in occupied spaces such as offices, schools, hotels, healthcare facilities, restaurants, meeting rooms, public areas, and commercial fit-out projects.
Acoustic Performance for Multiple Mounting Conditions
kleen Panel has acoustical performance information tested following ASTM C423 using “A” and “F” mounting methods. Performance varies by thickness and installation condition. The 2″ thick A-mount option provides high and mid-frequency absorption with better reverberation control for voices, while the 1″ thick A-mount option provides high and mid-frequency absorption with good reverberation control for voices. The 1/2″ thick A-mount option provides high-frequency absorption and is best for specific acoustic applications. The 3/8″ thick panel with spacer F-mount options also supports targeted sound absorption performance depending on spacer depth.
