Recycled Rubber Floor Underlayment for Impact Noise Control
KINETICS® IsoLayment QT is a low-profile recycled rubber noise control floor underlayment used to reduce impact sound transmission between occupied spaces. It is designed for multi-family high-rise buildings, dormitories, hotels, serviced apartments, villas, and mixed-use developments where footfall noise from hard floor finishes must be controlled without adding excessive floor height.
Designed for Hard Floor Acoustic Performance
IsoLayment QT helps improve acoustic comfort under floor finishes such as ceramic tile, stone, marble, hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, parquet, sheet vinyl, LVT, carpet, concrete, and gypsum concrete. It can be installed over plywood sheathing, concrete floors, heavy timber planks, and gypsum concrete, making it practical for both new construction and renovation projects.
Flat and Bumpy Underlayment Options
KINETICS® IsoLayment QT is available in two styles: Flat and Bumpy. Flat rolled products are available in standard thicknesses of 2 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, and 15 mm. Bumpy rolled products are available in standard thicknesses of 6 mm, 10 mm, 17 mm, and 25 mm, with uniformly spaced bump heights of 3 mm, 5 mm, 9 mm, and 18 mm respectively. All rolls are 48 inches wide, with special thicknesses available on request.

ISOLayment QT can be installed over plywood sheathing, concrete floors, heavy timber planks, and gypsum concrete.
