Product Description

Composite Noise Barrier and Sound Absorber
PC Noise Barrier/Absorber is an acoustic composite material designed for direct attachment to enclosure and barrier surfaces. It improves sound “blocking,” transmission loss performance, and sound absorption characteristics, helping achieve a higher level of overall sound reduction in industrial, mechanical, and equipment noise control applications.

Single and Double Layer Configurations
The single layer PC construction includes one mass/barrier damping sheet and one fiberglass absorption layer. It is available either un-faced as PC 410 GOD or with a black high-temperature facing as PC 410 GBD. For applications requiring increased sound blocking, the double layer PC 410/410 GBD includes the single layer PC construction plus an additional fiberglass layer to decouple the mass/barrier from the enclosure or barrier surface.

Improved Blocking and Absorption Performance
By combining mass/barrier damping with fiberglass sound absorption, PC Noise Barrier/Absorber supports both airborne noise reduction and reverberant sound control. The double layer format provides improved sound blocking compared with adding mass directly to the enclosure or barrier surface, making it suitable for demanding industrial noise control and OEM equipment applications.

Flexible Fabrication and Installation
PC Noise Barrier/Absorber is supplied in 36″ x 42″ sheets and can be die cut or saw cut to customer-specified dimensions. As a general installation guideline, single layer un-faced or faced PC material can be installed using a factory-applied release “peel and stick” liner. For best structural strength, double layer PC material should be mechanically fastened to enclosure or barrier surfaces, especially for vertical and overhead applications.

Industrial and MEP Noise Control Use
PC material is effective when attached to the inside of equipment casings, enclosures, or barriers surrounding noisy processes or machinery. It is suitable for both standard and elevated temperature applications, making it useful for industrial facilities, mechanical rooms, equipment cabinets, compressor enclosures, production areas, and other noise-sensitive project environments across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region.
