The hanger uses a color-coded elastomer-in-shear insert with a load plate, assembled within a stamped or welded steel bracket.
Unlike standard elastomer elements loaded primarily in compression, the RH-C Neoprene Hanger loads the elastomer in shear. This design allows increased allowable strain while helping maintain long-term material performance. The hanger bracket also permits support rod misalignment through a 30° arc without creating metal-to-metal contact or vibration short circuits.
