Product Description

High-Performance Rollout Floating Floor Isolation
RIM by Kinetics Noise Control is a rollout isolation material designed to create effective floating floor systems for impact noise, airborne sound, and structure-borne vibration control. The system uses acoustic batting to pre-space isolation pads, forming an airspace that is an essential component in high-performance noise control floor assemblies.

Efficient Installation with Pre-Spaced Isolation Pads
RIM is engineered to simplify the installation of isolated floors. Instead of measuring and placing individual isolation mounts across the floor area, the system is supplied in rolls with isolators already pre-spaced within the acoustic batting. This helps reduce installation labor, supports consistent isolator placement, and helps the system achieve the intended acoustic performance.

Designed for Wood and Concrete Floating Floor Systems
RIM is available for both wood and concrete floating floor applications. RIM System wood floated floors are well suited for dance studios, loft-style condominiums, recording studios, and other spaces where high-performance noise control is required with a lower-profile, lightweight assembly. The system can create an airspace of 1 to 4 inches and incorporates resilient decoupling technology for improved isolation performance.

Consultant-Friendly Acoustic Floor Solution
For projects across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region, RIM provides a practical floating floor solution for buildings where impact noise, vibration transfer, and acoustic privacy are important design considerations. The system is designed to meet requirements for load capacity, natural frequency or pad deflection, and acoustical performance, with isolators selected and spaced according to project design criteria.

Application

  • Wood floating floor systems for acoustic isolation
  • Concrete floating floor systems for impact noise control
