Kinetics Middle East supplies WRAS-approved stainless steel expansion joints for HVAC, hot-water and water-services piping systems across the UAE, GCC and wider Middle East. Manufactured with stainless steel Grade 321 bellows, these axial expansion joints accommodate thermal pipe movement while providing a compact solution for mechanical and building-services installations. The range supports demanding operating conditions up to 300°C, with selected configurations rated up to 16 bar at 200°C.
Engineered for Performance.
Kinetics Middle East supplies WRAS-approved stainless steel expansion joints for consultants, MEP contractors, mechanical contractors and project teams requiring reliable thermal-movement control in HVAC, water and building-services piping systems.
The stainless steel axial expansion joints use corrugated Grade 321 stainless steel bellows to absorb expansion and contraction created by changes in pipe temperature. Their compact construction makes them suitable for installations where controlled axial movement is required without the space associated with conventional pipe expansion loops.
The range is suitable for commercial buildings, high-rise developments, district cooling and heating systems, plantrooms, mechanical services and other engineered piping installations throughout the UAE, GCC and wider Middle East.
Operating pressure, temperature, movement, connection type and size must always be confirmed against the selected product model and current technical datasheet.
WRAS approval provides independent product verification for water fittings and plumbing products tested for compliance with applicable UK Water Supply Regulations and Scottish Water Byelaws.
WRAS product approval is particularly relevant where consultants, contractors or project specifications require independently tested water-system components.
The associated stainless steel expansion-joint range includes WRAS-approved screwed and flanged axial expansion-joint configurations. The applicable model, approval number and installation conditions should be confirmed during product selection.
For official information about the certification scheme, visit the WRAS Product Approvals directory.
WRAS-approved stainless steel expansion joints are suitable for engineered piping systems requiring compensation for thermal expansion and contraction, including:
For each installation, the joint must be selected according to actual pipe size, temperature, pressure, calculated axial movement and piping restraint arrangement.
Selected stainless steel expansion joints in the range carry WRAS Product Approval, supporting consultant and contractor specifications requiring approved water-system products.
The corrugated stainless steel bellows provide the flexible element required to accommodate axial thermal movement while maintaining a compact overall installation.
Published product information covers operating temperatures up to 300°C, providing options for hot-water, heating, steam and other compatible mechanical services.
Selected configurations provide working-pressure ratings up to 16 bar at 200°C, subject to the size, model and project operating conditions.
Axial bellows expansion joints can accommodate calculated pipe growth within substantially less installation space than conventional hard-pipe expansion loops.
The range is suitable for use in mechanical-services installations such as heating-water systems, plantrooms, risers and other temperature-dependent pipe networks.
Precision-fit flexible lagging jackets are available for selected expansion joints to support insulation continuity around the moving component.
Kinetics Middle East supports consultants and contractors with expansion-joint selection, movement requirements, anchoring, guiding and project-specific technical documentation for UAE and regional projects.
Stainless steel axial expansion joints must be installed as part of a properly engineered piping system.
Pipe anchors and guides are essential because axial bellows must be constrained so that thermal pipe movement occurs in the intended direction. Incorrectly anchored or inadequately guided pipework can cause excessive extension, compression, lateral displacement or buckling of the expansion joint.
Before installation:
Kinetics Middle East can review piping layouts and project requirements where expansion-joint selection, anchoring or guiding requires engineering coordination.

The associated Stourflex stainless steel expansion-joint range includes WRAS-approved axial expansion joints. Current manufacturer certification information lists JP115/JP116 screwed and flanged axial expansion joints under WRAS Approval No. 240704051 and JP114 screwed axial expansion joints under WRAS Approval No. 2111336. Product approval, model selection and applicable installation requirements should be verified against the current WRAS directory and manufacturer documentation at the time of specification.
A WRAS-approved stainless steel expansion joint is a flexible piping component in an approved product range that uses stainless steel bellows to accommodate thermal pipe movement while meeting the applicable requirements and installation conditions of its WRAS Product Approval.
Stainless steel expansion joints compensate for dimensional changes caused by thermal expansion and contraction in piping systems. Axial expansion joints are commonly used in straight pipe runs where calculated pipe growth must be absorbed in a controlled manner.
Yes. The range is suitable for HVAC and mechanical-services applications including hot-water, LTHW, MTHW and HTHW systems, subject to correct selection for pressure, temperature, pipe size and movement.
The expansion joints use corrugated Grade 321 stainless steel bellows.
Published Kinetics product information specifies a maximum working temperature of 300°C for the applicable stainless steel expansion-joint range.
Selected configurations are rated up to 16 bar at 200°C. The final pressure rating must be checked against the exact product size, model and technical datasheet.
Anchors and guides direct pipe movement through the expansion joint and restrain pressure forces within the piping system. Without adequate anchoring and guiding, an axial bellows joint can be subjected to unintended movement and potential system failure.
Kinetics Middle East supplies WRAS-approved stainless steel expansion-joint solutions for consultants, MEP contractors and mechanical projects in the UAE and supports project requirements across the GCC and wider Middle East.
Yes. Project teams can submit pipe size, design pressure, operating temperature, calculated movement, connection requirements and piping-layout information to Kinetics Middle East for technical product selection.

Axial expansion joints must be securely anchored and adequately guided to achieve correct movement and prevent unintended extension, compression or lateral displacement. Confirm pressure, temperature and movement requirements before installation. Protect the stainless steel bellows from mechanical damage and weld spatter, observe the specified flow direction where an internal sleeve is fitted, and never exceed the rated movement. Only one axial expansion joint should be installed between main anchors unless the piping system has been specifically engineered otherwise. Follow the applicable manufacturer’s installation instructions and consult Kinetics Middle East where anchoring or guiding requires project-specific review.
