Kinetics Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acoustic Application Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role plays a critical part in delivering innovative acoustic, noise control, and vibration isolation solutions across HVAC, industrial, architectural, and interior acoustic projects throughout the UAE and wider MENA region.
As an Acoustic Application Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting acoustic assessments, developing customized engineering solutions, preparing technical reports and submissions, and supporting project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Perform acoustic calculations, simulations, and assessments for HVAC, industrial, architectural, and interior acoustic applications.
- Develop effective noise and vibration control solutions for ductwork systems, mechanical equipment, plantrooms, generators, chillers, and related infrastructure.
- Design and recommend architectural acoustic treatments, sound absorption systems, and interior acoustic solutions to achieve project performance targets.
- Review project specifications, architectural drawings, MEP layouts, and BOQs to identify acoustic requirements and propose compliant solutions.
- Prepare acoustic reports, engineering calculations, technical submissions, compliance documentation, and project-specific recommendations.
- Provide technical engineering support to sales, estimation, procurement, and project execution teams during tendering and project delivery stages.
- Participate in client meetings, consultant discussions, technical presentations, and value engineering workshops.
- Evaluate and select suitable acoustic products, including silencers, acoustic louvers, noise barriers, acoustic enclosures, absorption panels, and ceiling baffles.
- Ensure all proposed solutions comply with applicable acoustic standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing technical expertise and innovative engineering approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acoustic design, architectural acoustics, HVAC noise control, or noise and vibration control engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE project experience.
- Proven experience in acoustic assessments, engineering calculations, and technical report preparation.
- Strong understanding of regional and international acoustic standards and best practices.

- Exposure to advanced acoustic modeling and simulation tools is advantageous.
