Tube Axial Flow Fan for Demanding Ventilation Systems
KINAIR Inline Axial Fan is a tube axial flow fan engineered for high-volume air movement through ducted and in-line ventilation systems. The fan is suitable for HVAC, MEP, industrial, infrastructure, and building services applications where efficient airflow, durability, and reliable operation are required.
Durable Casing for Harsh Environments
The tube casing is crafted from durable rolled mild sheet steel and is available with a corrosion-resistant hot-dip galvanized finish or epoxy coating finish. The standard casing is suitable for corrosion categories C3 and C4, helping provide long-lasting performance in harsh environmental conditions. On request, the casing can also be supplied in stainless steel or with C5 corrosion protection coating for severe environments.
Balanced Impeller and Robust Hub Construction
The fan uses a dynamically balanced variable-pitch angle impeller to support smooth operation and minimal vibration. Depending on fan diameter and mechanical requirements, the impeller is manufactured from high-grade aluminum, offering strength and lightweight characteristics for efficient airflow. The hub is constructed from either high-grade aluminum or pressed sheet steel, depending on diameter and mechanical requirements, providing robust support for the impeller.
Motor Performance and Electrical Options
KINAIR Inline Axial Fan is available with IE2 or IE3 efficiency motors, supporting energy-efficient operation in line with modern efficiency standards. All TEFC/TEAO motors are designed with IP55 protection and continuous duty S1 operation, making them resistant to dust and water ingress. The motors feature Class F and Class H insulation. High-temperature models are available for 300°C / 400°C for 2 hours, offering enhanced thermal tolerance for demanding applications.
Control, Airflow Direction, and Fan Range
The fan is suitable for inverter control, providing speed adjustment flexibility and improved energy efficiency in variable airflow applications. Motors are designed with airflow in the Motor-Impeller direction, Form A, helping ensure efficient air movement and cooling performance. The fan range covers sizes from 315 mm up to 1600 mm, with standard air operation temperature from -20°C to +50°C. Electrical supply options include 3~ 220–240/380–415 V, 50/60Hz.
Long Casing Versions for Installation and Maintenance
KINAIR Inline Axial Fan is available in long casing versions for enhanced functionality. ET, External Terminal Box, provides quick and convenient electrical connections and includes a spy hole for visual inspection of impeller rotation without dismantling the fan. ID, Inspection Door, provides direct access to the motor for quick checks and servicing, reducing maintenance downtime. ETID combines the external terminal box and inspection door for simplified installation, inspection, and maintenance.
