Kinetics EvoPICV Pressure Independent Control Valves provide accurate flow balancing, pressure control, and temperature regulation for hydronic HVAC systems. Designed for chilled water, heating, FCU, AHU, and district cooling applications, EvoPICV supports efficient MEP system performance across the UAE, GCC, and MENA region.
Kinetics Noise Control Inc. Products
Kinetics EvoPICV Pressure Independent Control Valves, also known as PICV valves, are high-performance hydronic control valves designed to combine flow regulation, differential pressure control, and temperature modulation in one compact valve assembly.
Engineered for HVAC chilled water and heating systems, the EvoPICV valve maintains stable flow rates even when system pressure fluctuates. This pressure independent operation helps consultants, MEP contractors, and facility operators achieve reliable hydronic balancing, improved temperature control, and efficient system operation in both variable flow and constant flow applications.
Hydronic Flow Control for HVAC Systems
The Kinetics EvoPICV integrates a differential pressure regulator, equal percentage control valve, and flow presetting mechanism into a single unit. The diaphragm-based pressure regulation system maintains constant differential pressure across the valve seat, helping deliver consistent flow performance and reducing the need for separate balancing valves.
This 3-in-1 design simplifies valve selection, installation, commissioning, and long-term maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC projects, including buildings with fan coil units, air handling units, heat exchangers, district cooling networks, and BMS-controlled hydronic systems.
Performance and Technical Value
EvoPICV valves support precise flow control with ±5% flow control accuracy up to 6 bar differential pressure. The differential pressure range is 0–6 bar, with flow rates from 150 l/h to 500,000 l/h depending on the selected model.
The valves are suitable for heating and cooling systems with a temperature range from -10°C to +120°C. Working pressure is up to 25 bar, while models up to 2” handle 16 bar. Connection options include threaded Rp/Rc EN 10226-1 or NPT for ½” to 2” sizes, and flanged EN 1092-2 connections for 2” to 10” sizes.
The valve body is available in brass and ductile iron for the 94F Series. Control characteristics include equal percentage or linear control, selectable on larger sizes. Stroke range is 3 mm to 6 mm for smaller valve sizes and 90° rotary operation for larger sizes.
Commissioning and Operation
Kinetics EvoPICV valves are designed for easy presetting, allowing flow rates to be manually adjusted and locked through a graduated knob. The removable diaphragm supports flushing, cleaning, and troubleshooting without full valve disassembly, helping reduce maintenance complexity during operation.
The valves are suitable for both manual and motorized operation and are compatible with rotary actuators, making them appropriate for building automation and BMS-controlled HVAC systems.
