KINETICS® STEALTH 2D Diffusers are designed to scatter sound energy both horizontally and vertically using random elevations and varied surface patterns. Installed behind a stretched-fabric acoustic finish, STEALTH diffusers disappear from view while still helping shape the acoustic character of the room. This makes them suitable for high-end interiors where acoustic performance must be integrated without visible diffuser surfaces.

They are suitable for wall and ceiling applications and can be oriented horizontally or vertically, giving acoustic consultants, AV designers, interior designers, and contractors flexibility when coordinating room layouts and reflection control zones.
Product Sizes and Material Construction
STEALTH Diffusers are manufactured from black thermo-molded rigid copolymer material. Standard diffuser face dimensions are 20-1/2″ wide x 44-1/2″ high. Three depth options are available: STEALTH 1 at 3/4″ deep for 1″ StretchTRAK systems, STEALTH 2 at 1-5/8″ deep for 2″ StretchTRAK systems, and STEALTH 4 at 3-1/4″ deep for 4″ StretchTRAK systems.
Installation Coordination
STEALTH Diffusers are installed on walls or ceilings according to the acoustic room design. Installation is typically completed by Kinetics-certified StretchTRAK system installers, although installation guidelines are available. Required tools and hardware include a utility knife, construction adhesive, and drywall screws, with screw lengths varying by diffuser depth. Diffusers may also be cut with a table saw or sharp utility knife to fit the intended area when needed.
