Product Description

Custom Graphic Acoustic Fabric for Design-Led Spaces
KINETICS® AcoustiGraphix® is a photo-imaged acoustical fabric option that allows unique pictures, logos, trademarks, artwork, family portraits, vacation photos, movie posters, sports team images, or branded visuals to be displayed while helping control noise and reverberation. It is suitable for projects where acoustic treatment must also support interior design, branding, storytelling, or visual identity.

Acoustics with Personalized Visual Impact
AcoustiGraphix uses a high-resolution digital image that is superimposed onto acoustically transparent fabric and stretched over acoustical panels. Panoramic images can also be applied across a series of panels and sequenced to wrap an entire theater or feature wall, making it ideal for home cinemas, studios, offices, hospitality interiors, schools, conference rooms, lobbies, and entertainment spaces.

Compatible with Multiple Kinetics Acoustic Panel Systems
AcoustiGraphix can be added to a wide range of Kinetics fabric panel products, including HardSide Acoustical Wall Panels, HardSide Acoustical Cloud Panels, HardSide Acoustical Ceiling Baffles, High Impact HardSide Acoustical Wall Panels, VersaTune Acoustical Wall Panels, TAD Tuned Absorber/Diffuser Panels, and kleen PET Panel. This gives acoustic consultants, architects, interior designers, and contractors flexibility to match the required acoustic performance with the desired visual finish.

Printing, Fabric, and Panel Options
The AcoustiGraphix custom graphic option uses a dye sublimation printing process and can be produced on panels up to 4′ x 10′. Continuous murals can be created using multiple panels, allowing large-scale graphics for theaters, school gymnasiums, reception areas, corporate spaces, hospitality interiors, and branded environments. The special acoustically transparent fabric meets NFPA 701/BI and ASTM E84 Class A requirements as stated by Kinetics.

Photo-Imaged Acoustic Panels for AV and Theater Rooms
For theater and AV applications, cutouts can be provided to accommodate speakers hidden behind the images. This allows AcoustiGraphix panels to contribute to room acoustics while maintaining a clean visual design, especially in home theaters, screening rooms, media rooms, recording studios, and premium entertainment spaces across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region.

Image File and Production Requirements
For high-quality photo reproduction, digital photo images must be 100 DPI or greater. Supported “non-compressed” image formats include TIFF, BMP, PICT, RAW, TGA, or EPS; JPEG and GIF are not supported for the photo-imaged acoustical fabric specification. Kinetics also lists preferred production artwork formats including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, TIFF, and EPS files, with production resolution guidance of minimum 50 DPI and maximum 75 DPI at full print size for the custom graphic option.

Acoustical Core Options
AcoustiGraphix panels may use different acoustical core types depending on the selected panel function. The absorption core is a molded fiberglass substrate with a pre-shaped edge and hardened perimeter. The diffusive core is heat-formed black ABS polymer. The reflective core is molded fiberglass with a pre-shaped edge and an acoustically sealed face for sound reflection.

Acoustical Performance Options
Published acoustical performance varies by panel thickness. Kinetics lists NRC values of 0.80 for 1″ thick panels, 1.00 for 1-1/8″ thick panels, 1.00 for 2″ thick panels, 1.05 for 2-1/8″ thick panels, and 1.10 for 4″ thick panels. Frequency absorption data is also provided at 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, and 4000Hz, supporting specification by acoustic consultants and AV designers where detailed room acoustic performance is required.
