KINETICS® Starcoustix™ Starfield Acoustic Ceiling System combines the appearance of a fibre-optic night sky with engineered room-acoustic treatment. The system creates an immersive ceiling feature while helping control sound reflections that can interfere with dialogue clarity, music detail and surround-sound performance.

Starcoustix PX Direct-to-Drywall Acoustic Panels
Starcoustix PX consists of prefabricated fibre-optic acoustic panels designed for direct installation on drywall ceilings. Rotofast™ clips allow the panels to be secured to the ceiling while maintaining a finished panel appearance.
PX is suitable where a prefabricated panel system is preferred and the project has an existing or newly constructed drywall ceiling. Panel modules, joints, lighting-engine locations and maintenance access must be coordinated before installation.
Starcoustix GX Lay-In Ceiling Grid Panels
Starcoustix GX converts a conventional suspended ceiling grid into a fibre-optic starfield acoustic ceiling. The panels fit within standard acoustic ceiling tile grids, making GX suitable for projects where the existing ceiling construction must remain accessible or modular.
GX is suitable for home theatres, studios, entertainment rooms and commercial AV interiors that use a suspended ceiling grid. The grid loading, suspension system, panel layout, light-engine position and above-ceiling services must be coordinated with the project team.
Starcoustix SX Custom Acoustic Starfield Ceiling
Starcoustix SX uses the KINETICS® StretchTRAK™ system to create a more continuous and highly customised starfield ceiling. Acoustic treatments are positioned behind an acoustically transparent fabric finish before the fibre-optic starfield is completed and programmed.
The system provides clean corners and barely perceptible fabric seams, helping avoid the heavily segmented appearance associated with some modular star-panel ceilings.
