Starfield Acoustical Ceiling for Premium AV Spaces
KINETICS® Starcoustix™ is a family of starfield acoustical ceiling systems designed to bring the appearance of a starry sky together with improved audio performance for movies, music, and entertainment spaces. Starcoustix ceilings are developed for projects that require both visual atmosphere and acoustic treatment, making them suitable for home theaters, private cinemas, screening rooms, media rooms, studios, luxury residences, hotels, and premium entertainment interiors.

The system helps control sound reflections while creating a distinctive ceiling feature, allowing designers and AV consultants to integrate acoustic treatment without sacrificing the visual experience of the room.

Starcoustix PX Fiber-Optic Acoustical Panels
Starcoustix PX panels are fiber-optic acoustical panels designed for beauty, sound, and installation convenience. The panels are wrapped in Guilford of Maine Anchorage acoustical fabric in Onyx 2016 or Midnight 2025 and are ready to install on drywall ceilings using Rotofast™ clips. PX panels are available in standard and custom sizes, with a 1″ thickness. Optional features include dimming, shooting stars, and constellations.

Starcoustix GX Fiber-Optic Ceiling Grid Panels
Starcoustix GX is designed to turn a conventional grid ceiling into a starfield ceiling feature. The GX panels are lay-in grid system panels that fit conventional ACT ceiling grids and are available in 2 ft. x 2 ft. or 2 ft. x 4 ft. sizes. They are made from 3 lb/cu. ft. acoustical boards faced with upgraded black fabric, with perimeter panels without stars available in the same finish.

Starcoustix SX with StretchTRAK™
Starcoustix SX provides an advanced starfield ceiling solution with improved finishes, acoustics, and feature capabilities. It offers a clean, elegant appearance with precise corners and barely perceptible seams, helping avoid the heavily segmented appearance of many individual-panel starfield ceilings. After the acoustical treatments are installed, fabric sections with fiber optics are tucked into StretchTRAK™, then the fiber-optic components are programmed and activated.

Balanced Room Acoustics for Cinema and Listening Rooms
Untreated ceilings can be highly reflective and may compromise audio system performance. Starcoustix SX supports customizable acoustics using absorption, diffusion, and reflection to help balance the sound of the room. Kinetics engineered absorbers and diffusers, including TAD, VersaTune, HighTones, MidTones, and Stealth, allow treatment types, quantities, thicknesses, and placement to be optimized across the sound spectrum.

Advanced Starfield Features and Controls
Starcoustix SX feature options include shooting stars, twinkling stars, constellations, night-sky images, adjustable brightness for stars and constellations, full integration with control systems, and shooting star speed and frequency control. These features make Starcoustix suitable for luxury home theaters, private screening rooms, hospitality cinemas, entertainment suites, and high-end AV interiors across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region.
