KINETICS® Geometric Diffusers Sound Diffusers

KINETICS® Geometric Diffusers are multi-directional acoustic sound diffusers with deep profiles, designed to break up direct sound reflections and distribute sound more evenly in auditoriums, rehearsal rooms, lecture halls, and performance spaces across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region.

Product Description

KINETICS® Geometric Diffusers are shaped acoustic diffuser panels used to improve room acoustics by dispersing sound reflections more evenly throughout a listening space. Instead of allowing direct reflections to concentrate in specific areas, the shaped diffuser surfaces help create random sound disbursement, improving sound quality and consistency for listeners.

Acoustic Diffusion for Performance Spaces
Geometric Diffusers are particularly suitable for band and choral rehearsal rooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, and music performance spaces where consistent sound distribution is important. When installed on rear walls, side walls, ceilings, or grid ceiling systems, the diffusers help break up direct sound reflections and support a more balanced listening environment.

Shapes, Finishes & Design Options
KINETICS® Geometric Diffusers are available in two standard shapes: offset pyramidal and radius. They are commonly used together with Kinetics acoustical wall panels, combining sound diffusion and sound absorption to improve overall room acoustic performance. The diffusers are available in white thermo-molded copolymer as standard, with optional painted or fabric-faced finishes for architectural coordination.

Ceiling and Wall Installation Flexibility
Geometric Diffusers can be used for wall-mounted and ceiling applications, including ceiling-suspended, ceiling flush-mounted, pyramidal grid ceiling, and radius grid ceiling installations. They are also suitable for lay-in 15/16″ standard grid ceilings and can be factory modified for 9/16″ grid ceilings when specified at the time of ordering.

Sizes and Technical Notes
The product is available in multiple nominal sizes depending on diffuser shape. Radius diffuser sizes include 2′ x 2′ x 5.25″, 2′ x 4′ x 5.25″, 3′ x 3′ x 7″, 3′ x 4′ x 9.75″, 3′ x 6′ x 9.75″, 4′ x 4′ x 9.75″, and 4′ x 6′ x 9.75″. Offset pyramidal diffuser sizes include 2′ x 2′ x 6.75″, 2′ x 4′ x 6.75″, and 4′ x 4′ x 12″. The listed NRC value is 0.10. Actual width and length for all diffusers except the 4′ x 6′ model are 1/4″ less than the nominal dimensions to allow installation in lay-in ceiling grids.

Project Documentation
Available supporting resources include BIM object, wall specification, ceiling specification, data sheet, room acoustics brochure, warranty, HPD, VOC/CDPH certificate, and LEED analysis. Fabric selection resources include Juno, Kinetics’ exclusive acoustical fabrics, FR701® Style 2100, Anchorage 2335, fabric cleaning guidelines, and Guilford of Maine fabric swatch ordering.
