Product Description

KINETICS® HardSide Acoustical Cloud Panels provide an effective ceiling-level acoustic treatment for spaces affected by reverberation and excessive room noise. Suspended horizontally from the ceiling, these acoustical cloud panels are especially suitable for interiors where absorption is required but there is minimal or no wall space available for acoustic panels.

Designed for reverberation control, HardSide Clouds deliver high sound absorption performance through cloud-style installation and are well suited for projects where vertical baffles may not be practical. They are ideal for ceilings that are too low for vertical baffle installations and can provide a similar acoustical function without interfering with sprinklers or lighting layouts.

Each HardSide Cloud Panel is constructed using 6 PCF fiberglass boards wrapped in fabric from the FR 701© Collection by Guilford of Maine, or a factory-approved customer-selected fabric. Vinyl finishes are also available, allowing consultants and interior designers to coordinate acoustic performance with the required architectural appearance.

For enhanced visual impact, HardSide Cloud Panels can also be backlit with low-voltage lighting, creating a dramatic ceiling feature while supporting acoustic comfort. Standard sizes are available up to 4′ x 10′, with standard thicknesses of 1″, 2″, 3″, and 4″. Edge treatment options include Square, Bevel, Radius, Pencil, and Miter profiles. NRC ratings range from 0.80 to 1.00, depending on the selected configuration.
