Durable Copolymer Facing
Each SportsBoard Conform panel is constructed from 6–7 PCF fiberglass board, with exposed surfaces encapsulated in a 1/16″ perforated copolymer facing. The copolymer facing is molded to cover all panel edges, helping protect the acoustic core while maintaining a clean, finished appearance. The panel is available in a variety of colors, and the color is integral to the copolymer, so it does not scratch off.
Cleanable Acoustic Wall Treatment
For facilities where hygiene and maintenance are important, SportsBoard Conform offers a wipe-clean surface. Kinetics notes that the perforated copolymer can be cleaned with a sponge and isopropyl alcohol, making it suitable for sports, education, institutional, and recreational spaces that require durable acoustic treatment with easy maintenance.
Sizes, Thicknesses, and Acoustic Performance
SportsBoard Conform panels are available in sizes up to 42″ x 90″, with data sheet options noting oversized panels up to 48″ x 120″, subject to minimum order quantities. Standard thicknesses include 1-1/16″ and 2-1/16″, with 1″ and 2″ nominal thickness references in the data sheet. The standard edge treatment is Pencil, and published NRC values range from 0.70 to 1.00, with sound absorption tested per ASTM C423, Type A mounting.
