KINETICS® NOISEBLOCK™ PW275 is a lightweight noise barrier wall and panel system engineered for acoustic and structural performance. Manufactured from durable extruded rigid PVC, the system is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions while remaining light, versatile, and easy to install for rooftop, industrial, and environmental noise-control projects.
Fast Installation for Construction and Retrofit Projects
NOISEBLOCK™ PW275 Lightweight Noise Barrier Walls use an efficient tongue-and-groove panel design that helps keep construction schedules on track. The lightweight panels can be installed by hand, making the system practical for projects where access, structural loading, installation speed, and site coordination are important.
Absorptive and Reflective Panel Options
The system is available in two acoustic PVC panel types. PW275-A absorptive panels include front-face slots with acoustic sound-absorbing media enclosed within the panel, helping reduce reflected sound energy. PW275-R reflective panels can include a galvanized metal channel for added strength and noise reflection, with structural panels transferring barrier forces to vertical posts.
Tested Acoustic and Structural Performance
Kinetics lists PW275 absorptive panels with 0.95 NRC based on ASTM C423 and 33 STC based on ASTM E90. Reflective panels are listed with 32 STC based on ASTM E90. Additional listed testing includes ASTM D790 flexural properties and ASTM D4226 impact resistance of rigid PVC building products after accelerated weathering.
