Product Description

KINETICS® Sereno is part of the Kinetics Acoustical Wood Collection, designed for spaces where finished wood appearance and acoustic comfort are both important. Sereno uses symmetrical perforation patterns that allow sound energy to pass through the visible wood or laminate surface into a concealed absorber behind the panel. This makes it suitable for architectural interiors that require noise reduction, reverberation control, and a refined natural wood finish.

Perforated Wood Acoustic Design
Sereno panels are designed with a perforated core and a veneer or laminate face. The visible hole patterns create a modern or retro visual effect while providing an acoustically transparent surface for sound absorption. The open area created by the standard perforation pattern is higher than many wood acoustical panels, helping the system deliver strong sound absorption performance where reverberation reduction is a key design requirement.

Patterns & Acoustic Performance
KINETICS® Sereno is available in four standard patterns: Sereno 2/10, Sereno 4, Sereno 4/10, and Sereno 6. Sereno 2/10 and 4/10 use a 10 mm perforated core with 2 mm or 4 mm perforated veneer, while Sereno 4 and Sereno 6 use continuous 4 mm and 6 mm holes through the veneered face and core. Depending on the configuration, tested NRC values range from 0.40 to 1.00.

Wall and Ceiling Configurations
Sereno can be used on walls or ceilings and is available as field-assembled panels or factory-assembled ready-to-hang Ensemble panels. Field-assembled Sereno panels are hung on Z-clips and can be custom sized up to 4′ wide x 8′ long. Ensemble panels arrive complete with fiberglass and frame, providing contractors with a pre-built acoustic wood panel solution for faster installation coordination.

Wood, Finish & Project Options
Designers can select from veneer or laminate finishes, hole size and pattern, edge finish, and fire-rated or non-fire-rated core options. Standard wood veneer options include maple, cherry, oak, walnut, birch, and mahogany, with custom options available. Matching, cuts, finishes, edge banding, trim pieces, paint, laminate, unfinished, clearcoat, and stain or painted options are also available depending on project requirements. FSC® Certification is available upon request.

Acoustic Value for Interior Projects
For consultants, architects, contractors, and project developers, Sereno provides a wood acoustic panel solution that supports reverberation control without compromising interior design quality. It is well suited for UAE, GCC, and MENA projects where acoustic comfort, speech clarity, and premium wood finishes are required in public, commercial, educational, civic, and cultural interiors.
