KINETICS® StretchTRAK™ is a site-built stretch fabric acoustic wall and ceiling system designed to reduce echo, control reverberation and improve sound quality without exposing conventional acoustic panels.
The system conceals selected sound absorbers, low-frequency treatments or acoustic diffusers behind large, often seamless runs of architectural fabric. It creates a clean upholstered finish that can blend discreetly into the interior or become a prominent design feature using colour, texture, curves and customised panel layouts.

How the StretchTRAK™ System Works
StretchTRAK uses a concealed perimeter and seam-track framework installed directly onto prepared walls or ceilings. The required acoustic core is placed within the tracked areas, after which acoustically suitable fabric is tensioned and tucked securely into the track.
The completed surface hides the acoustic treatment while maintaining clean lines, precise joints and coordinated architectural detailing. The system can follow straight surfaces, form curves and integrate around doors, screens, millwork, lighting, switches, ventilation grilles and other interior features.
The acoustic treatment behind the fabric is selected according to the room’s reverberation criteria, frequency-control requirements, architectural design and available system depth.

Sound-absorption cores are available in thicknesses from approximately 1 inch to 4 inches. The standard track profile is approximately 1⅛ inches deep and can be furred out where deeper acoustic assemblies are required.

Acoustic Performance
StretchTRAK does not have one fixed acoustic rating because performance is determined by the acoustic core, system depth, treated surface area, mounting arrangement and room design.

StretchTRAK™ Versus Prefabricated Acoustic Panels
Prefabricated fabric-wrapped acoustic panels are manufactured in predetermined sizes and mounted individually. StretchTRAK is constructed on site, allowing the acoustic finish to cover larger areas and accommodate curves, corners, millwork and complex architectural details.

Acoustic Treatment Versus Soundproofing
StretchTRAK is primarily a room-acoustic treatment. It absorbs or redirects reflected sound within the room to control echo, reverberation and sound quality.
It does not, by itself, prevent sound from passing through walls, ceilings, floors, doors or mechanical services. Projects requiring sound isolation may also need isolated wall and ceiling assemblies, acoustic doors, floating floors, resilient isolation systems, acoustic barriers and HVAC sound attenuators.
