The system hides acoustical treatments behind large fabric surfaces, allowing sound control to be built into walls and ceilings while maintaining a clean, refined interior appearance.
Flexible Fabric System for Walls and Ceilings
The StretchTRAK™ system conceals various absorptive cores with large, often seamless runs of fabric. This field-fabricated approach expands design options beyond traditional pre-fabricated acoustic panels, which can be limited by size and layout. It can be finished with subtle white fabric for a drywall-like appearance or with colorful, textured, and visually impactful fabrics for stronger design expression.
Acoustic Performance for Echo Control and Fine Tuning
StretchTRAK™ can support basic echo control for common rooms as well as frequency-specific acoustic tuning for critical listening spaces. Acoustical absorbers hidden behind the fabric help reduce reverberation caused by reflective surfaces such as glass, wood, and drywall. For advanced room acoustic design, the system can incorporate absorbers and diffusers to deliver the required balance of absorption, reflection, and diffusion.
Premium Finishes and Custom Design Options
StretchTRAK™ uses acoustically transparent fabrics available in a variety of colors, textures, and patterns, giving interior designers and acoustic consultants flexibility for wall and ceiling design. Site-Built Installation and Track System
StretchTRAK™ is a site-built system crafted to fit within tight tolerances, allowing skilled installers to form crisp details, tight seams, and clean corners across different wall and ceiling designs. Track profiles are 1-1/8 inch deep and can be furred out for deeper assemblies. The flexible polymer track can conform to curved surfaces and can be installed around walls, ceilings, doorframes, soffits, or millwork.
Turnkey Acoustic Solution Support
Kinetics states that StretchTRAK™ acoustical solutions are typically purchased as customized turnkey systems installed by Kinetics factory-authorized installers. For qualified stretch-fabric installation companies, individual StretchTRAK™ system components may also be available. Kinetics project managers can support CAD drawings, installation details, and acoustical reports for project coordination.
