Product Description

NDM Flexco High-Load Vibration Isolation Pads

Kinetics Model NDM Flexco High-Load Vibration Isolation Pads are engineered elastomeric pad-type isolators designed to control transmitted noise, vibration and shock beneath heavy industrial equipment, structural bearing points and high-load machinery.

NDM Flexco pads are manufactured from a cured homogeneous blend of ozone-resistant rubber elastomer and high-strength random synthetic fiber cords. The reinforced material provides uniform mechanical behavior in all directions, making the pads suitable for demanding applications where conventional lower-capacity vibration isolation pads cannot safely accommodate the required bearing pressure.

What are Kinetics NDM Flexco vibration isolation pads?

Kinetics NDM Flexco Pads are high-load fiber-reinforced elastomeric isolation pads designed to reduce transmitted noise, shock and vibration from heavy industrial equipment and structural bearing loads. NDM pads can support static compressive stress up to 2,000 psi (141 kg/cm²) and shock or vibration loading up to 1,000 psi (70 kg/cm²). Typical applications include foundries, steel mills, heavy machinery, load-bearing walls and building foundations.

High-Load Industrial Vibration Isolation

Kinetics NDM Flexco Pads are designed for applications where the pressure applied to the isolation pad exceeds the load-carrying capability of conventional KIP Fiberglass Isolation Pads.

The NDM material can be loaded up to:

Static loading: 2,000 psi / 141 kg/cm²
Shock or vibration loading: 1,000 psi / 70 kg/cm²

These high compressive load ratings make NDM suitable for heavy machinery, industrial structures and load-bearing applications where durable pad-type vibration and shock isolation is required.

Heavy Equipment & Structural Applications

Kinetics NDM Flexco vibration isolation pads are suitable for applications including:

  • Foundry machinery
  • Steel mill equipment
  • Heavy industrial machinery
  • High-load production equipment
  • Structural bearing points
  • Load-bearing walls
  • Building foundations
  • Machinery foundations
  • Industrial plant equipment
  • Heavy mechanical installations
  • Infrastructure projects
  • Shock-producing machinery
  • Applications where loading exceeds the capacity of fiberglass isolation pads

NDM pads can be manufactured in the size and thickness required by the project drawings or approved vibration isolation specification.

NDM Flexco vs. Conventional Isolation Pads

NDM Flexco is intended for substantially heavier bearing pressures than conventional elastomeric or fiberglass isolation pads.

Kinetics KIP Fiberglass Isolation Pads are available for loading from approximately 5 to 500 psi, while NDM Flexco Pads are intended for applications requiring pressures above that range and can accommodate static compressive stress up to 2,000 psi.

This makes NDM particularly suited to heavy industrial machinery, structural bearing loads and foundation-isolation conditions where high load capacity is the primary design requirement.

Foundation & Structural Vibration Isolation

NDM Flexco Pads can be installed beneath load-bearing walls and building foundations to help reduce transmitted noise, shock and vibration between the supported structure and adjacent construction.

For structural applications, pad dimensions, thickness, loading and bearing locations must correspond with the approved contract drawings and structural engineering requirements. Isolation-pad selection must account for the actual pressure imposed at each bearing location rather than only the total supported weight.

Industrial Vibration Control Across UAE & MENA

Kinetics Group supplies and supports heavy-duty vibration isolation solutions for industrial facilities, infrastructure projects, manufacturing plants, steel-processing facilities, mechanical installations and structural applications across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the wider UAE, GCC, Middle East and MENA region.

Kinetics NDM Flexco Pads provide engineers, consultants and contractors with a manufacturer-defined high-load isolation material backed by published compressive, shear, tensile, tear, ozone and aging performance data for demanding industrial and structural vibration-control applications.

For consultants, structural engineers and industrial contractors selecting high-load vibration isolation pads in the UAE, Kinetics NDM Flexco provides published compressive, shear, tensile, tear, heat-aging and ozone-resistance properties rather than relying only on generic rubber-pad hardness or dimensions. With static bearing pressure up to 2,000 psi, NDM addresses heavy structural and industrial loads beyond the range of conventional HVAC neoprene and fiberglass isolation pads.

Installation Guidelines

Install Kinetics NDM Flexco Pads at the bearing locations, sizes and thicknesses shown on the approved contract drawings and vibration or structural isolation details.

Ensure that concrete, steel or other bearing surfaces are clean, structurally sound and sufficiently level to provide uniform contact across the isolation-pad area.

Calculate pad bearing pressure from the actual load transferred through each support location. Static compressive stress must not exceed 2,000 psi (141 kg/cm²).

For shock or vibration applications, compressive stress on the NDM isolation pad must not exceed 1,000 psi (70 kg/cm²).

Provide the pad size and thickness specified by the project engineer. Avoid concentrated loads, sharp projections or irregular bearing conditions that could produce localized stresses outside the approved design.

Where NDM pads are installed beneath load-bearing walls or building foundations, coordinate pad position, bearing area and loading with the approved structural drawings.

Where exposure to oil requires additional protection, specify the optional oil-resistant coating.

Final installation must comply with current Kinetics technical data, approved shop drawings, project specifications and structural or vibration-isolation engineering requirements.
