NPD Neoprene Pads [Both Side Ribbed]

NPD Neoprene Pads are both-side ribbed elastomer vibration isolation pads designed to reduce noise, shock, and high-frequency vibration from mechanical equipment, industrial machinery, and process equipment. Manufactured for true elastomer-in-shear performance, these neoprene pads provide practical vibration control for grade-supported equipment installations in UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA projects.

Product Description

Kinetics NPD Neoprene Pads are ribbed elastomer isolation pads used to isolate noise, shock, and high-frequency vibration generated by mechanical equipment and industrial machinery located on grade-supported structural slabs. As part of the Kinetics Model NPS, NPD, NGS, and NGD neoprene pad range, NPD pads are suitable for mechanical, industrial, and process equipment installed on grade or in other non-critical areas where reliable pad-type vibration isolation is required.

NPD Neoprene Pads are produced from a high-quality elastomer and are available as single ribbed or crossed double ribbed pads in one or more layers separated with steel shims when required. The pads are available in 45 or 65 durometer and are designed for maximum loadings of 60 PSI or 120 PSI (4.2 or 8.4 kg/cm²), depending on the material selection and application requirements. Typical ribbed neoprene pad applications are limited to pad loadings of 60 PSI for 45 durometer material and 120 PSI for 65 durometer material, and are used with equipment having minimum operating speeds of 3600 RPM.

These both-side ribbed neoprene isolation pads are designed to operate within the strain limits of the elastomer, helping support long service life and stable vibration isolation performance. Under impact conditions, the load capacity of the pads is reduced by 50%, and 120 PSI, 65 durometer material is used. NPD pads are available in 4″, 6″, or 9″ square sizes with capacities from 400 to 9,700 lbs. (181 to 4,400 kg), or as full 18″ square sheets that can be cut or drilled to meet field requirements.

For consultants, contractors, and MEP engineers, Kinetics NPD Neoprene Pads provide a simple, durable, and effective solution for reducing structure-borne noise and vibration in HVAC systems, mechanical rooms, industrial plants, process areas, and building services installations across the UAE and wider GCC region.
