NGD-NGS-NCP Neoprene Pads

NGD-NGS-NCP Neoprene Pads are ribbed elastomer vibration isolation pads designed to reduce noise, shock, and high-frequency vibration from mechanical equipment, industrial machinery, and process equipment. Suitable for grade-supported slabs and non-critical MEP areas, these neoprene isolation pads provide a practical vibration control solution for projects across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and MENA region.

Product Description

Kinetics Model NPS, NPD, NGS, and NGD ribbed elastomer isolation pads are designed for the isolation of noise, shock, and high-frequency vibration generated by mechanical equipment and industrial machinery located on grade-supported structural slabs. These pads are used where reliable neoprene vibration isolation is required for mechanical, industrial, or process equipment installed on grade or in other non-critical areas.

Kinetics Model NP and NG Pads are manufactured from a high-quality elastomer and are available in single ribbed or crossed double ribbed configurations. They can be supplied in one or more layers separated with steel shims, depending on project requirements. The pads are available in 45 or 65 durometer and are designed for maximum loading of 60 or 120 PSI (4.2 or 8.4 kg/cm²). The elastomer is oil and water resistant and is designed to operate within the strain limits of the isolator to support long service life.

NP Pads are available with rated deflections from 0.04″ to 0.09″ (1 mm to 2 mm), while NG Pads are available with rated deflections from 0.13″ to 0.19″ (3 mm to 5 mm). Pads can be supplied in 4″, 6″, or 9″ (102, 152, or 228 mm) square sizes with capacities from 400 to 9,700 lbs. (181 to 4,400 kg), or in full 18″ (457 mm) square sheets that can be cut or drilled to meet field installation requirements.

For consultants, contractors, and MEP engineers, NGD-NGS-NCP Neoprene Pads offer a simple and effective elastomer-in-shear solution for reducing vibration transmission from HVAC, mechanical, industrial, and process equipment. They are suitable for use in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, plant rooms, mechanical rooms, infrastructure projects, and equipment areas where structure-borne noise and vibration control are required.

Neoprene vibration isolators shall be Model NPS, NPD, NGS or NGD, as manufactured by Kinetics Noise Control, Inc.
