Kinetics RHEC-AD is a Grade-B neoprene vibration isolation element with a mild-steel load cap for threaded-rod suspended HVAC and light mechanical equipment. It is available in 30, 45, 75 and 125 lb rated-load models, colour coded silver, red, green and white. Every model provides 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm rated deflection and accepts a suspension rod with a maximum diameter of 0.41 in. / 10.4 mm. Kinetics Group supplies RHEC-AD elements for UAE, GCC and MENA projects.
Engineered for Performance.
Kinetics Model RHEC-AD is a neoprene vibration isolation element with an integral mild-steel load cap. It is designed for installation at a threaded-rod support point beneath an equipment bracket, creating a resilient separation between suspended equipment and its supporting connection.
The RHEC-AD element is manufactured from Grade-B neoprene and is available in four colour-coded load capacities. Every model provides a rated static deflection of 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm when correctly selected and loaded.
Its compact construction makes the RHEC-AD suitable for suspended light mechanical and HVAC equipment where the approved support detail requires an individual neoprene isolation element rather than a complete enclosed hanger assembly.
Kinetics Group provides RHEC-AD vibration isolator selection and technical support for consultants, acoustic engineers, HVAC contractors, MEP contractors, developers and facility teams working on projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the wider UAE, GCC, Middle East and MENA region.
| Element Model | Rated Load | Approximate Metric Load | Colour Code | Rated Deflection |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RHEC 30AD | 30 lb | 13.6 kg | Silver | 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm |
| RHEC 45AD | 45 lb | 20.4 kg | Red | 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm |
| RHEC 75AD | 75 lb | 34.0 kg | Green | 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm |
| RHEC 125AD | 125 lb | 56.7 kg | White | 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm |
| Dimension | Imperial | Approximate Metric |
|---|---|---|
| Overall diameter | 1.35 in. | 34.3 mm |
| Element/load-cap diameter | 1.22 in. | 31.0 mm |
| Overall height | 0.83 in. | 21.1 mm |
| Maximum rod diameter | 0.41 in. | 10.4 mm |
All dimensions must be confirmed against the approved Kinetics drawing before procurement, fabrication or installation.
The RHEC-AD element is installed below the supported equipment bracket. The threaded rod passes through the central opening, with the neoprene body positioned against the bracket and the mild-steel load cap transferring the load to the lower fixing hardware.
The resilient neoprene element separates the equipment bracket from the lower metal connection, helping interrupt the direct path through which mechanical vibration can enter the threaded-rod support system.
Installation must maintain the intended resilient separation. The rod, bracket, washers, nuts or adjacent components must not create unintended metal-to-metal contact that bypasses the neoprene element.
Select the RHEC-AD model according to the actual operating load carried by each individual isolation point.
Do not divide the total equipment weight equally unless its centre of gravity and weight distribution confirm equal loading. Motors, coils, fans, valves, controls and connected services can create unequal loads at different support locations.
Use the following procedure:
The selected element must operate within its published rated capacity. An incorrectly loaded element may not achieve the intended static deflection or vibration-control performance.
RHEC-AD is an individual neoprene element with a load cap. It is not the complete stamped or welded hanger-bracket assembly.
For an enclosed, fully assembled neoprene hanger used with suspended equipment, piping or ductwork, use the RH Neoprene Vibration Isolation Hanger.
For applications requiring greater static deflection and improved low-frequency isolation, review the SRH Spring-Neoprene Vibration Isolation Hanger.
For floor-mounted mechanical equipment, review the RD Neoprene Mounts.
The wider manufacturer range is available through the Kinetics Noise Control vibration isolation product family.
Kinetics Group supports HVAC consultants, MEP consultants, acoustic engineers, contractors and procurement teams with product selection, technical submittals and project quotations.
RHEC-AD neoprene vibration isolation elements are available for projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and throughout the UAE, with regional support for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, North Africa and the wider MENA region.

RHEC-AD is a Grade-B neoprene vibration isolation element with a mild-steel load cap. It is installed at a threaded-rod support point beneath an equipment bracket to help reduce vibration transmission from suspended HVAC or light mechanical equipment.
RHEC-AD elements are available with rated loads of 30, 45, 75 and 125 lb. The models are identified by silver, red, green and white colour codes respectively.
All four RHEC-AD models have a rated static deflection of 0.30 in. / 7.6 mm.
The approved drawing states a maximum rod diameter of 0.41 in. / approximately 10.4 mm.
The correct model is selected using the actual operating load carried by each individual support point. Unequal equipment weight distribution must be considered before choosing the model and colour code.
No. RHEC-AD is the neoprene isolation element with its load cap. The complete RH product includes the hanger housing and associated assembly components.
RHEC-AD has a rated deflection of 0.30 in. Where a project requires greater static deflection or lower-frequency vibration isolation, a spring or spring-neoprene hanger must be selected according to the project schedule.
Typical RHEC-AD applications include:
The final application must follow the approved equipment-support detail, project vibration-isolation schedule and actual load carried by each support point.
