Kinetics Model RGH is an elastomer-in-shear vibration isolation mount for suspended light mechanical equipment, fan coil units, piping and HVAC ductwork. RGH mounts reduce audible-frequency vibration and structure-borne noise using a colour-coded, oil-resistant elastomer insert between steel load caps. Models are available with rated loads of 55, 125 and 220 lb, each providing 0.23 in. / 6 mm rated static deflection. Kinetics Group supplies RGH mounts with technical selection and submittal support for UAE, GCC and MENA projects.
Engineered for Performance.
Kinetics Model RGH Vibration Isolation Mounts are designed to reduce the transmission of noise and vibration generated by suspended light mechanical equipment, fan coil units, piping and HVAC ductwork.
Each RGH mount incorporates a colour-coded elastomer-in-shear insert enclosed between steel load-transfer caps. The extended central sleeve supports proper connection within the suspended equipment assembly while the elastomeric element helps interrupt the transmission of structure-borne vibration into the supporting building structure.
Unlike conventional rubber elements that primarily load the material in compression, the RGH mount loads its elastomer in shear. This arrangement increases the allowable working strain without accelerating material deterioration when the mount is correctly selected and operated within its published load range.
RGH mounts are suitable for consultants, acoustic engineers, HVAC contractors, MEP contractors, developers and facility teams requiring a compact and cost-effective vibration isolation solution for suspended building services across the UAE, GCC, Middle East and MENA region.

| RGH-220 | 220 lb | Green | 0.23 in. / 6 mm |

The standard RGH mount has an approximate overall diameter of 44 mm and an overall height of 38 mm. The compact RGH-M configuration has an approximate overall diameter of 32 mm and an overall height of 25 mm. Refer to the approved product drawing before fabrication, procurement or installation.
The RGH mount uses a moulded elastomeric insert positioned between steel load caps. Under operating load, the elastomer works principally in shear rather than simple compression.
This construction provides controlled flexibility while maintaining a compact mount profile. The elastomer is manufactured from an oil-resistant compound and is colour coded so installers and inspectors can identify the applicable load range.
Correct loading is essential. Each mount must be selected so its actual operating load falls within the published capacity for the selected model. Undersized, oversized or unevenly loaded isolators may not achieve the intended deflection or vibration-control performance.
RGH-55, RGH-125 and RGH-220 samples were subjected to compressive-load testing by Middle East Testing Services L.L.C. in Ajman, UAE. The laboratory reports were issued on 24 April 2025.
The recorded results were:
The reports state that the tested neoprene elements sustained multiple loading without failure. These results apply only to the specific samples covered by the laboratory reports and must not replace project-specific product selection, engineering review or installation requirements.

Select the RGH model according to the actual operating load carried by each individual isolation point—not only the total equipment weight.
The equipment weight should be distributed across all support points, accounting for uneven weight distribution caused by motors, fans, coils, valves, piping connections and equipment geometry. The selected mount should operate within its published load range and achieve the specified static deflection under normal operating conditions.
RGH mounts are intended for applications with maximum static-deflection requirements not exceeding 0.23 in. / 6 mm. Where greater deflection or lower-frequency vibration isolation is required, a spring or combination spring-neoprene hanger may be more appropriate. Review the SRH Spring-Neoprene Vibration Isolation Hangers and SH Spring Vibration Isolation Hangers for alternative suspended isolation requirements.

Kinetics RGH vibration isolation mounts are intended for suspended sources of audible-frequency vibration and for reducing noise transmission through piping and ductwork support systems.
Typical applications include:
For complete hanger assemblies, view the RH Neoprene Vibration Isolation Hanger. For floor-mounted mechanical equipment, review the RD Neoprene Mounts. Where seismic or wind-load restraint is required, refer to the RQ Seismic Neoprene Mounts.
RGH vibration isolation mounts must be installed in accordance with the approved Kinetics installation instructions, coordinated drawings and project specifications.
During installation:
The final installation must comply with the project vibration-isolation schedule, approved MEP drawings, applicable specifications and prevailing site requirements.
